About
I've kept an online photoalbum here for 5 years now, but no more! Managing and putting together photos on my own was just too time-consuming and now I have a backlog of photos 3 years old that will never see the light of day if I keep at this. SO. For 2007, I've decided to try a hand at taking a photo - or at least posting a photo -everyday, and leave the rest of the hard work to flickr.
All photos are taken by:

> 50mm/f1.4 lens
> 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VR lens

These are already more than a week old but still looking good.

The only thing better than Beacon Hill from the street is Beacon Hill from the top. We are checking out open houses this Sunday, and one unit has a coveted private roof deck with this stunning view of Boston, the Charles, and Cambridge.
One day this view shall be MINE! All mine!

So orange and so golden.

We make this maybe once every two years. It's sashimi-grade tuna seared with very hot curry oil, then drizzled with a soy sauce glaze. The recipe is from Ming Tsai's Blue Ginger cookbook, and is so delicious.

Giving the boys their manicure/pedicure is a two-person job. We wrap them in a towel first to prevent limbs from kicking and scratching. They hate it, but they're really such good-natured cats that this isn't as horrible as it should be. I mean Bunny knows what's going on, knows we're coming for him next and yet there he is watching nearby, when he should be running for the hills.

We ordered 14 lbs of green chile from New Mexico a few months ago.

Nothing's better than Paris in the fall. Except perhaps Paris in the spring. I've been daydreaming a lot about Europe lately... Taken November 2004. Going through photos sitting in my hard drive that I've never processed.

Brugge is one of my favorite European cities. It looks like something out of a medieval fairy tale.

In Marblehead, MA where all the yachts dock.
